NAQS Issues Update on Recruitment Portal, Insists It Is Working Properly

According to the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), the assertions that the recruitment portal is down may not be entirely correct as we have received over Fifteen thousand applications within the last few days of the advertisement, the portal witnessed the influx of over three thousand applications within two hours of going live and this tempo has continued to date, we advise applicant to continue trying to access the portal at intervals particularly during off-peak hours with efficient network connections that would provide ease in the course of the applications.

Given the above, Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) has informed the general public that the application process for the recruitment exercise is still ongoing, and all prospective applicants are enjoined to log on to https://recruitment.naqs.gov.ng and apply accordingly.

NAQS stated that they have received some complaints about slow access to the recruitment portal and some challenges being experienced by some applicants who are still unable to access the portal. As a responsible Service, management wishes to state that we remain committed to a seamless and transparent process and we assure the general public that the situation is purely due to the exceptionally large number of applicant attempting to access the portal simultaneously.

The public is hereby advised to disregard any misleading information of portal downtime as we sincerely regret any inconvenience these temporary hiccups may have caused and we appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of all applicants, NAQS advised
